Troumouse Circus

Less vertical than Gavarnie, the Cirque de Troumouse is the largest and most open of the three great glacial cirques in the valley. It has a circumference of about 11 km! Its grandeur combined with a peaceful and green atmosphere give it a very special charm. Several walks are possible to discover it. From the chapel of Héas, below the circus, allow 4h30 to complete the loop. It is also possible to access the heart of the circus by taking a small train (paying from € 3.50 round trip), from the Plateau du Maillet car park. You will then be able to make various short journeys of 1 to 2 hours of return walk.
