Cirque du Lys From the village, board the Lys gondola for a 15-minute climb, then take the Barbat chairlift to discover an exceptional site. The panorama is breathtaking: Pic du Midi, Vignemale and the Ardiden massif stretch out in front of you. It is also the starting point for the Ilhéou refuge. Throughout the summer, also take advantage of the mountain bike trails. With 1500m of vertical drop, they satisfy both hard-working riders and lovers of gentle descents. More than 1500 meters of elevation to the village of Cauterets. Thanks to the Lys gondola and the Barbat chairlift, you can effortlessly reach the top of the Cauterets resort, culminating at 2400 meters. A spot that is both complete and varied Slopes, paths, ridges, undergrowth, singletracks, scree... To eat, head to the restaurant Le Lys located at the foot of the slopes. The routes and circuits are maintained throughout the summer by the Cauterets Bikepatrol. 3 levels of difficulty - Blue slopes: beginner / intermediate descenders - Red slopes: intermediate / experienced descenders - Black slopes: experienced descenders
